Unless you've been living under a rock, you've no doubt heard of the release of Apple's iPhone this week. Many folks have predicted that it will do to the cellular phone market, and more importantly, the smartphone market, what the iPod did to the MP3 player market. I've read many hands-ons from CES, many reviews, and many prognostications about what impact the iPhone will have when it lands in June. I've resisted covering the news already covered about it in order to react to the reality, and not the hype, of this particular device, and hopefully will be able to lend some clear insight into what the iPhone means to the Treo market in this article.
